Microsoft Prepares the Second Phase of Its Advertising Campaign Attacking Directly from Apple


Microsoft is preparing to deploy the second part of its publicity campaign in 300 million that will emphasize one of the charismatic personalities of the campaign "Get a Mac": PC. The New York Times reported that the giant advertising Crispin Porter and Bogusky soon deploy a series of ads with which Microsoft hopes to redefine the "personality PC" beyond the image presumptuous that Apple has given the stereotype User PC that bothers to Microsoft.

In the new ads, a character similar to that interprets John Hodgman will be presented by saying "Hello, I am a PC and I have become a stereotype." In addition, with this campaign with which Microsoft hopes to counter the campaign at Apple, added a series of announcements of actual users expressing their pride and satisfaction by using Microsoft products in their work. The ads will include a number of persons as teachers, designers and even shark hunters as well as some 60 employees of Microsoft, all of them showing their names and their e-mails. Even Bill Gates will be among those to be released in advertisements.

In addition, these people will join a number of media celebrities like Eva Longoria, Deepak Chopra, and Pharrell Williams. Jerry Seinfield will do for now a third appearance in this campaign and it is unknown whether will reappear in the future.
